Did someone take the quest that you wanted? Don't worry.
So long as it is listed on the Available Quests page, you're free to make a thread and assume that no one is doing the quest at the moment. They must be separate threads, however. Because different outcomes and scenarios may derive from different players, quests may have unique results and rewards. The only exception to this is any Bounty or Epic Quest -- they cannot be duplicated and are available at a first come, first grab.
