Roleplaying RequestsQuests: Help Wanted!

QUESTS: HELP WANTED!
Whether you are standing outside the Black Chimera in Puruja or the Singing Rabbit in Thun, there is a collection of posters and parchment nailed to the wall. Each one is identical in that they are all a cry for help and all demand swift aid. Though there are some that are insignificant, a few happen to catch your eye. Perhaps the effort would not be in vain -- each one has a promised reward, but who's to say what other treasures you may encounter along the way? Though allies may be of some help, it is up to you to decide how the reward will be split as the employers are offering all they can (well, some of them at least) for your services.

EMBARKING ON A QUEST
To embark on an available request below, create a thread in the appropriate region and mark it with a [Q] (Quest) tag. You may also put a [P] (Private) tag in the title if you want to restrict who can accompany you on your adventure -- otherwise, unmarked Quest threads can be posted in if they have no tag or are marked [O] (Open). After you have created the thread, reply to this one with the form located at the end of this post. Depending on the complexity and originality of your quest's progress, loot and rewards will be scaled as appropriate.

WHO TO QUEST WITH?
You are more than welcome to organize a party before starting the quest by posting in the Roleplaying Request forum. Remember, some quests require a group, so this step is mandatory. For quests without this requirement, however, you can solo quests, but will then be roleplaying by yourself. Please be aware if you solo a quest, the rewards are substantially less extravagant.

DIFFERENT QUEST DIFFICULTIES
If you plan on questing with an ally or a group, each quest has a specific requirement of minimum posts before the thread is eligible for evaluation. There are four different difficulty levels -- if you meet the minimum requirement of each difficulty when questing with others, the rewards will subtantially increase. (Effective as of 4/5/10)

        • Easy - Thread must have a minimum of 10 posts.
        • Medium - Thread must have a minimum of 15 posts.
        • Hard - Thread must have a minimum of 25 posts.
        • Epic - Thread must have a minimum of 40 posts.

TURNING IN A QUEST
Once you have completed a quest, see the Quest Evaluation thread.

Well, imagine a proud, beautiful creature; most ignorant people think they're half dog, half bear, but they are one of nature's most powerful and graceful creations. Broan cliffriders favor them as companions in war and as mounts; oh, if only you could see how claw through enemy lines -- anyway, I need you to find my ex-husband, Nodnarb, who ran off into the tunnels that wind through Broan. He took my precious, Penny, my most prized daug and friend. Please... I don't know what will become of her in his greedy lil' hands!"

I will not be able to return to Neryrzar'tar without risking my throat, so I need someone to accomplish something for me. My face and name are too well-known within the black walls of the city. In the heart of the city is a spring, the Font of Lustration, that is frequented by the priestesses of Ziatonuth. I need you to take this signet ring to the spring and remove the curse Haeljss has woven about it. This is vital for my restoration of pride and status and... an opportunity for you to be rewarded handsomely. The dark elves of Neryrzar'tar are not welcoming to outsiders, so you must approach the font undetected. This is an errand of secrecy and with its completion, your pockets will drag on the floor behind you from the weight of coin. Do not fail me."

General / Bounty: Idle Hands (Hard)   []
A small farming stead on the Juthron Grasslands has had a particularly good fate up until just a few weeks ago. Roughly two months ago the head of the settlement exiled a young apprentice for his poor view of work and refusal to help in the fields and life carried on up until recently when the strange horses, deer, elephants and kavava beetles began to move in on the fields of painstakingly treated and grown crops despite the numerous obstacles set up to discourage such munching. Some of the farmers have said that they've seen the recently exiled apprentice playing a pan pipe nearby, controlling his animal army as he seeks revenge and mothers have begun to complain of losing their children during the attacks, one claiming that her daughter marched right out of the house as soon as she heard the music. Being a sort concerned with the balance of things and the well-being of the animals the farmers ask that you defeat the boy and end his hold on his small army with minimal damage to the animals. Beware it's said that the flute can control simple minds and give stronger minds quite a run for their money...

Characters Eligible: Any alignment / occupation. (Group Required)
Starting Location: Juthron Grasslands (Sauria).
End Destination: ----
Employer: Juthron farming families.
Request Objectives:
--- Find the missing children.
--- Find a way to stop the apprentice boy.
--- (Optional) Kill the boy.
This objective is restricted; chaotic or evil alignments only.
