Azruli Mineral
What are Azruli fragments?
No one knows where these brilliant, little shards of broken jewelry come from. They are found all throughout Tur in different shapes and sizes, all equally brilliant and captivating. It is difficult to discern whether or not there is potential of magic within these fragments, but it is evident that they were once a part of something larger and more beautiful. There has never been a recorded find of mining veins, so it is believed that these gems do not originate from the earth and are in fact, from somewhere else. Because this is a mystery, these items are instead traded as a form of currency -- far more precious than gold, Azruli can often supply things that silver or coin could not.

How do I get Azruli?
Azruli cannot be mined or farmed and can only come to you through discovery and payment. It does not naturally grow from the earth, so its actual source is unknown.

There are a few methods to obtaining Azruli:
- Post daily in the Character Journal forum. You may only post ONCE per character per day, but you may post journal entries for as many characters as you like.
- Submit a roleplay to be evaluated. Each thread (that qualify) will earn you 250 Azruli.
- Complete a quest or dungeon. Depending on complexity and difficulty, the rewards may vary.
- Various events. Events throughout the world can earn you quite a plethora of goods.
- Working the Trading Grounds. Sell, barter, trade with other members on the economy.
- Registering your character as a Merchant, Crafter, or Soldier. For more information, see the Crafting, Trading, & Selling thread about occupational vouchers.

What can I buy with Azruli?
You can purchase various vouchers from the Azruli Shop; the tab is located above. You may trade Azruli with other people for their services. Also, there are particular events that require Azruli, so it is very handy to have.

Tear of Taneth Mineral
Because this item can be obtained through events on Tur, you must either have this item in your possession to roleplay it or receive administrative approval. There is a particular myth that accompanies this magnificent, unique type of emerald. It is said that one spring evening, the Lord of Life, Taneth, was traversing the great wood in the form of a beautiful goat. He encountered a drunken hunter that had somehow fallen into his own trap. By merely glancing at the man, the goat could tell the man was close to death and had been bleeding slowly but profusely for hours. Not wishing to frighten the man, Taneth shifted into the shape of a satyr and offered the man food and drink and song for his darkest hours, knowing that his spirit was already too far gone into Roth's reach to save. The man, enraged at his inevitable fate, drew his dagger and sliced the satyr across his cheek. Shocked and heartbroken, Taneth tore away into the wild with tears in his eyes and the man died, hungry and alone. Rain began to fall and as the water mingled with the god's sadness, his tears crystalized into emerald-like jewels. Tears of Taneth can be found in forest mines and are considered incredibly rare and exquisite. It is said they exist to remind Men that kindness should not be disregarded lightly.
